Bandobras Took - A Legend is Born

This is Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took posing for a painting similar to the one that appears on a wall at Bag End in the Jackson movie version of The Lord of the Rings. I imagine the picture first being painted the day after the Battle of Greenfields, at which Bandobras sealed the victory (and invented the game of golf) by knocking the goblin chieftain Golfimbul's head down a rabbit hole with a wooden club. According to the timelines, Bandobras was roughly the same age then as Frodo was at the time of the quest to destroy the one ring; that is to say, an adult but on the younger end - not even fifty yet! I picture him here as still tired, proud, but somewhat embarrassed at all the attention.
